Why not let Shorten and ALP justify their positions? Because when 'Red' Kerry (ABC 7:30 report) asked Kevin Rudd a simple question in '10, Rudd answered it so badly he got rolled by Gillard soon after. Because asking the conservative what they meant dangerously allows the conservative to explain and expand on their position. Where is his source? Won't journalists want to find out his reasoning? However, a conservative politician at local council level might say "It is always better for private enterprise to handle services, where they are equipped, than government." The conservative politician is merely stating a belief, not a conclusion, but unprofessional media feel the urge to ask "Where is your source?" Not because they want to know, but because they want to heckle. For example, Shorten claims that Fairfax being bought by channel 9 will mean less media diversity. But overwhelmingly, from David Penberthy down, the organisation is Abbott and Trump hating, AGW supporting and largely connected with left wing mythology. I like Andrew Bolt, Tim Blair and Piers Akerman. Murdoch's news outfit in Australia is the best, but it is still subject to awful partisan, left wing supporting propaganda and only a few journalists are balanced. Press standards are low and they are partisan, not biased, on political issues. Gabrielle Williams was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Carers and Volunteers, working with the Minister for Housing, Disability and Ageing and the Minister for Families and Children. It is ironic on the same day an article was posted by wondering why Chinese wealthy people had stopped investing in Australia after xenophobes demanded they stop.Ī daily column on what the ALP have as a policy, supported by a local member, and how it has 'helped' the local community.
It is just that Smith's model was a failure. Australian farmers are world quality and deserve to be paid a fair price for their produce. However, Australia does not have to have Woolworths and Coles beggar Australian farmers. Smith spruiks a small Australia and protectionism as he sold overpriced goods. It does not mean it hasn't been cold this winter.ĭick Smith failed in trying to sell Australian product at inflated prices. I hesitate to write that Melbourne was lovely and 19c today.
It does not mean that man made carbon particles are starting forest fires unless arsonists are doing just that. Sweden, Greece, Canada and California, or, equatorial Tenerife, Algeria and Japan. Take a look at the list again and see if the places involved had entrenched leftwing governments.
Forest fires are a result of poor wilderness maintenance and mainly a fault of Green activists who refuse to allow appropriate maintenance of wilderness areas. The Sun.co.UK posted an article showing the world was heating to hell and listing places where there were deaths from forest fires. I'm behind posting for a day, so I'll catch up with an AGW posting.
